Medication at School

• Must have written consent from parent

or guardian for staff to administer.

• All medication must be stored in nurse’s

office.

• Medicine prescribed for three times a day

will not be administered at school but can

be given at home before school, after

school, and at bedtime.

• Medication cannot be sent home with the

student, but must be picked up by the

parent unless the student is in high school

and has written consent from the parent.

• Please refer to the medication policy in the

Student Handbook or on the school website.
